The press conference was held today in the chambers of Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, which is the program supporter of the festival. The media has presented this year’s rich and entertaining program. FREI will again be thematically directed towards the stimulation and encouragement of the current and future investments.
At this year’s FREI all participants will have the unique opportunity of hearing the presentation on the subject “Trends in tourism and forecasts for the Mediterranean – Challenges and Opportunities”, CEO of THR, Eulogio Bordas. Confirmed participation of an international expert, Chris Graham, on the subject of “Branded residences”, whose expert lecture will be held on Wednesday (17.05.2017.) Starting at 12 o’clock.

Mr Pavle Radulović, the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism informed the organizers of FREI that in this year too, the respective Ministry will be in charge of the FREI program concept. With this, the useful practice of alignment of the program concept FREI with the strategic development interest of Montenegro in the field of investment in tourism is thus continued.
This year Festival of Real Estates and Investments will be held under the personal patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Financial System. On May 15, Mr Simović, The Deputy Prime Minister, will visit the FREI exhibition and have talks to the leading investors, after which he will deliver a special inviting presentation on the following subject “Improving the business environment in Montenegro”.
Organization board FREI 2017 has decided to send the invitations for the participation at this year’s manifestation to all holders of key investment and development projects in Montenegro (Luštica Development, Adriatic Properties, Azmont Investments, Adriatic Marinas, Qatari Diar…). FREI 2017 will serve as an opportunity for the participants to get familiarized with the status and planned dynamics of projects under implementation.
This year’s FREI will comprise a number of interesting sessions in the form of discussions, the subjects of which refer to the key issues of the real estate development. The introductory agenda includes the issues related to the new Law on Spatial Development and Construction of Structures, the role of the local administration in the development of institutions, the issues of managing the areas of special purpose…
Instead of the Miločer hotel „Maestral“ that used to be an area for the implementation of the recent festivals of real estates and investments, this year the hotel Avala Resort & Villas from Budva will, for the first time, host the participants of FREI. The stand-exhibition will be placed at around 400 m2 of the free space at the level of the reception hall, and the ex-catedra programs will be organized in the Congress and Glass conference room of the hotel.
A very interesting discussion took place at the final FREI panel dealing with sustainable strategic planning towards making good use of the potential of and preserving the resources on the Montenegrin coast. In addition to the participants from the region, Minister Gvozdenović also participated in the panel and responded to the questions regarding this highly relevant topic.
Director of Ski Resorts of Serbia, DejanLjevnaić, participated in the Festival of Real Estate Investments in the “Success Stories” panel. Mr Ljevnaić talked about his experiences and problems in the management of and investment in mountain tourism. He also explained the trend and investment habits of international ski centres, as well as the results and plans of Ski Resorts of Serbia.
Once more this year FREI served as the place in which world renowned expertsappeared as panellists, such as Ms Sonia Huerta, main consultant of the Spanish company THR and Mr Edward Jervis, regional sales director of the prestigious MIPIM festival of Cannes. The topic of the panel was: “Destination Management: Events as a Tourist Product”.
FREI Discourse attracted a lot of attention among the visitors of FREI. The participants of the discourse included the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, BranimirGvozdenović, the representatives of key investment projects, consulting companies and organisations in the real estate sector such as Savills, Colliers, American Chamber of Commerce, and the Montenegrin Foreign Investors Council. Visitors of FREI had the opportunity to hear about the different stages that the investment projects such as Porto Montenegro, Portonovi, Luštica Bay, Qatari Diar, and Montrose are going through.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, visited the exhibition and talked to the representatives of the companies participating in the Festival of Real Estate Investments. The Prime Minister attended the welcome cocktail organised on the terrace of the “Maestral” Hotel.
The company Azmont Investments (Portonovi) is this year’s Golden FREI partner.
This year’s general sponsor of FREI 2016 is company Adriatic Properties.

The seventh FREI is also going to be under high patronage of the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović. The Prime Minister confirmed that he is personally going to visit the Festival and deliver the keynote address.
Given the intensity of the program, the Organiser has changed the initial program agenda. Thus, this year, an opening session and a special presentation invitation, provided by the Prime Minister Đukanović, will be held on the very first day in the afternoon, followed by a traditional welcome cocktail and entertainment program. The second festival day will be marked by presentation and discussion sessions. In the evening, a traditional “Friends Night” will be held.
On the third day, the plenary program will be resumed and it will end with a final afternoon session and presentation of awards. FREI exhibition will be active during all three festival days.
Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism is going to be in charge of the FREI program concept. In cooperation with the festival bodies, the Ministry is going to propose topics for panels and other discussion norms for this year’s FREI gathering. All the proposals submitted by other interested parties are going to be carefully considered.
In accordance with the decision of the Program Committee, invitations for participation of companies in FREI 2016 were sent to the companies from the first selection round. The invited companies may elect one of the participation statuses (sponsorship/partnership, exclusive regular status), form of presentation (presentation, participation in exhibition…) and/or one of the promotional options. The application period lasts until April 9th.
Because of unexpected obligations the new term of the visit and presentation of Prime Minister, Milo Djukanovic at FREI 2015 is Monday, 11 May from 18.00 – 18.40.
Registration of companies for participation in the FREI 2015 is now open. As usual, companies show the greatest interest in participating in the “FREI exhibition”, which will be set up in the lobby and other available areas of the hotel “Maestral”. The application deadline for this form of participation is 4 April 2015.
The company registration is now ongoing for the participation at FREI 2015. The most significant investors are expected to take part at the Festival this year including Atlas Group, Adriatic Marinas, Luštica Development, Azmont Investments, Northstar, as well as the architectural bureaus Studio Grad, CAU, Ing Invest and many other important investment and real-estate companies.
A renown European architect, Boris Podrecca confirmed his participation at the 6th FREI where he will give a lecture. This is another affirmation of the Festival’s status as an event gathering acclaimed experts.
VI FREI festival will be endorsed by Prime Minister of Montenegro, Mr. Milo Djukanovic, who will give a special thematic lecture.
According to the Organizationl Board decision, the 6th Festival of Real-Estate and Investments – FREI 2015 will take place at Hotel Maestral in Miločer (Budva) from May 11-14th, 2015.
